you are walking down the street by yourself, you are bored and looking for something to do. you come across a parade of people, with floats and crap. you say, hey, and you join the parade .. and why not, other people are too, you notice. So you’re walking .. and the person next to yells nigger at someone who doesn’t join!! And then all of a sudden, the person behind you yells fag at someone else.

Do you get out of the parade?

All of sudden the parade turns the corner, and before you know it .. the same people that were yelling nigger and fag are acting like they want to beat the crap outa those 2 people. Doh, and there they go.

I wish no harm on anyone. Regardless of their race, color, sex, blah blah blah. And I mean anyone.

they used to play backgammon outside under the streetlight until the sun came up.

“why cant we go in the house? lets..”, she would ask? “because ..”, she would always answer, and they would play on. it was never an option and though the one pretended otherwise, they both knew better.

years later that streetlight would be torn down.

im convinced that regret is very real, and that people that say otherwise are just masking the pain of having lost their streetlight.

she calls me from the cold just when I was low, feeling short of stable and all that she intends and all she keeps inside, isn’t on the label.
